Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
At a railroad crossing, you see this sign near the tracks. When should you use the information on it?

Correct answer: To report a car stuck on the tracks, or gates or lights that fail
Why
The Emergency Notification Sign (ENS) gives the crossing's identification and a number to call. Use it when something could require the railroad to stop trains, such as an obstruction on the tracks or lights or gates that do not work. If your vehicle stalls on the tracks, get everyone out and far away first, then call 911 and the number on the sign.
