Lee's Wyoming driver license expired three years ago, and Lee never renewed it. What must Lee do to drive legally again?
Correct answer: Apply in person, pass a written test and vision screening, and maybe a skills test
Why
A Wyoming license expires on the holder's birthday in the fifth year after it is issued. A person who lets it expire must apply in person and may have to take every part of the examination: the written test, the vision screening and the skills test. WYDOT requires the written test when a license has been expired for two years or more. Driving on an expired license is driving without a valid license, so renew before the expiration date.
