TurnsStandalone practice
After entering an intersection legally and while waiting to turn left, how should you position the front wheels?
Blue car A faces north within an intersection while silver car B approaches from the opposite direction. The card says A entered legally and is waiting to turn left.
Correct answer: Straight ahead
Why
If you have entered legally and must wait in the intersection to turn left, keep to the right of the centre line with the front wheels straight. This reduces the risk of being pushed into oncoming traffic by a rear impact. Complete the turn only when safe.
