Lanes, turns, passing and parkingStandalone practice
For ordinary parking, how close may you park a car to a fire hydrant in BC?
A red fire hydrant stands on the verge beside a curb. The adjacent road is empty.
Correct answer: Not within five metres
Why
Do not park an ordinary car within five metres of a fire hydrant. Measure along the curb or roadway edge from the point closest to the hydrant, not diagonally from the hydrant itself. Other posted restrictions may also apply.
