What to expect in Georgia

Two official 20-question sections

Georgia DDS publishes separate 20-question Road Signs and Road Rules sections. Each section requires at least 15 correct answers, so a combined score alone cannot pass the exam.

Official source

Official pass requirement is sectional

The practice mock follows the published 20-sign and 20-rule composition and applies the independent 15-correct minimum to each section.

English practice and official language options

Georgia DDS offers both knowledge-test sections in 26 languages. This practice test uses English. The separate road-skills test is given only in English.

Some live-test details are unpublished

The audited current Georgia sources do not publish a universal time limit, answer-choice count or reliable question-format label, so this site does not present those details as official facts.

Source and review method: question content is stored with its source metadata and remains outside public practice until it is published. Official-format facts on this page were reviewed on 2026-09-14 against Georgia Department of Driver Services Driver's Manual and the linked licensing authority pages.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Georgia Class C Knowledge practice test free?

Yes. All 250 questions, with their answers and explanations, are free, and so are the 5 numbered practice tests. You do not need an account to practise. You get 1 free exam simulation, and 2 with a free account. A free account also keeps your progress on all your devices. The optional Exam Pass is a one-time payment for one test and 90 days, not a subscription. It adds practice tools: practice by topic, practice of missed and saved questions until you get them right, more exam simulations, a timed exam simulator and a chance-to-pass score.
