At a four-way stop, you and a vehicle on your right stop at about the same time. No pedestrian or officer affects your movement. What should you do?
Blue car A approaches from the west and silver car B from the south at a four-way stop. Both are behind their stop lines. Their simultaneous complete stops are a stated condition.
Correct answer: Yield to the vehicle on your right.
Why
At an all-way stop, the first vehicle to arrive normally proceeds first after yielding to pedestrians. If vehicles arrive at about the same time, yield to the vehicle on your right. Take your turn when it is safe, but yield if another driver acts unsafely.
