Under the ordinary Class CP supervision rule, who must accompany the permit holder while driving?
Correct answer: A fit Class C licensee age 21 or older, seated beside the learner.
Why
The ordinary Class CP supervisor must be at least 21, licensed to drive a Class C vehicle, fit and capable of exercising control, and seated beside the learner. DDS has a separate restricted-permit process for an eligible child accompanying a disabled parent or guardian; that exception does not remove the ordinary rule.
