A truck 45 feet long is already driving through a roundabout and needs extra lane space. A car is approaching the conflicting area. What should the car driver do?
Correct answer: Yield and give the qualifying large vehicle room.
Why
Indiana's special rule applies to a vehicle at least 40 feet long or 10 feet wide driving through a roundabout. Yield when necessary to avoid a close conflict and give it adequate space. A car already circulating is not required by this rule to yield merely to a large vehicle approaching the roundabout. When two qualifying large vehicles approach together, the one on the right yields to the one on the left.
