Freeways & High-Speed RoadsStandalone practice
On an ordinary freeway, you have finished passing and the right lane is safely available. What is the appropriate lane choice?
Correct answer: Return to the right lane after signaling and checking safe clearance.
Why
Use the right lane for ordinary travel and use other lanes for passing as conditions permit. After finishing the pass, check that you are safely clear, signal and return right when safe. Do not stay beside another vehicle or make a late cross-lane move toward an exit.
