After a first failed Kansas written test, when may an applicant normally try again?
Correct answer: The next working day after paying the reexamination fee.
Why
The current official handbook says an ordinary first failed written or driving test may be repeated the next working day after paying the reexamination fee. A different rule applies after four failures of the written or driving portion within a six-month period: the applicant must wait six months from the last failed examination.
