Sharing the RoadStandalone practice
How much of a traffic lane is a motorcyclist entitled to use?
Blue car A follows motorcyclist B in the right lane of a divided road with two lanes in this direction. The adjacent lane is clear.
Correct answer: The full lane, even though the motorcycle is narrow.
Why
A motorcycle is entitled to use the full lane. Do not squeeze alongside it in the same lane or force it toward the edge. The statute separately permits two motorcycles abreast; that is not permission for a car to share the rider’s lane side by side.
