Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
While passing into the opposing lane of a two-way road, when must you return to the right relative to an approaching vehicle?
Correct answer: Before coming within 200 feet of it
Why
Complete the pass and return to the right before coming within 200 feet of an approaching vehicle. You must also have sufficient clear distance to avoid interfering with any vehicle, and obey no-passing signs, markings and other left-of-center restrictions. A 200-foot separation alone does not make a pass safe.
