Sharing the RoadStandalone practice
On a road posted at 35 mph, a transit bus ahead in your direction is leaving a stop. Its rear-left illuminated YIELD sign and turn signal are both on. What must you do?
Correct answer: Yield so the transit bus can reenter traffic
Why
On a public road with a maximum speed of 35 mph or less, yield to a same-direction transit bus reentering from a stop or shoulder when its rear-left yield sign is illuminated and its turn signal is active. The statutory transit bus is a publicly operated or contracted passenger service and excludes a school bus. Do not confuse this with school-bus red-light stopping rules.
