Parking, Reversing & Roadside StopsStandalone practice
Which location is not a lawful parking place on a limited-access highway?
Correct answer: A travel or acceleration lane, or a bridge
Why
Do not park in a traffic, acceleration or deceleration lane, on a bridge, or on the left shoulder of a limited-access highway. If a breakdown makes stopping unavoidable, leave traffic as safely as possible and make the vehicle visible. The limited disabled-vehicle exception is not permission to choose these places for a routine stop.
