Safe & Responsible DrivingStandalone practice
How should you choose a speed when rain or poor visibility reduces your ability to stop?
Correct answer: Reduce speed so you can stop safely in the available distance.
Why
Never exceed the applicable maximum. Reduce speed when rain, visibility or traffic makes that maximum unsafe, and keep enough space to stop. MPI also recommends at least four seconds of following distance in ideal conditions and more in adverse conditions.
