Why should you avoid lingering beside or closely behind a large truck?
Small blue A follows a large tractor-trailer B on a multi-lane road. The card states that both are travelling to the right.
Correct answer: You may be in a blind spot where the driver cannot see your vehicle.
Why
Stay out of a truck's blind spots and leave a generous following gap. If you cannot see its mirrors, assume the driver cannot see you. Seeing a mirror is not a guarantee of being noticed. When passing, leave enough room before returning ahead of the truck.
