Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
With the receiving lane clear, how should you turn left from a two-way street onto a one-way street?
An empty two-way approach meets a one-way receiving street. Ordinary road arrows indicate the receiving direction; no turn route appears.
Correct answer: Approach beside the centre line; enter the left-curb lane.
Why
Signal, enter the lane beside the centre line and check the turn. Enter the one-way street's lane nearest the left curb. MPI describes an exception when that lane is blocked within 30 metres of the intersection.
