Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
A parked vehicle blocks the receiving curb lane within 30 metres of your right turn. Another vehicle is approaching in the next lane. What should you do?
A intends a right turn; silver B approaches in the next receiving lane and silver C is parked in the curb lane. A factual card identifies the parked-vehicle obstruction within 30 m.
Correct answer: Wait for the vehicle to pass, then turn into the next lane safely.
Why
If the receiving curb lane is blocked within 30 metres of the intersection, MPI permits turning into the next lane only when it is clear of approaching traffic. Wait for a safe gap, check pedestrians and cyclists, and make a controlled turn.
