Parking, Reversing & Roadside StopsStandalone practice
When parallel parking at the right curb on an ordinary two-way road, how must the right-hand wheels be positioned?
Correct answer: Parallel to and within 12 inches of the curb.
Why
On an ordinary two-way road, park parallel with the right-hand wheels within 12 inches of the right curb or roadway edge. Authorized one-way parking may use either edge in the permitted travel direction, and officially permitted angle parking is a separate situation.
