Passing target: 72% (18/25)
You have just passed a bicyclist and want to turn right into a driveway. What must you confirm before turning?
Blue car A has passed cyclist B and is ahead on the right side of a two-way road. Both travel east. A driveway opens on the right farther ahead. B continues along the right side of the roadway.
Correct answer: That you are a safe distance ahead and can turn at a proper speed.
Why
Do not make an abrupt right turn across a bicyclist you have passed. Turn only from a safe distance and at a reasonable and proper speed without cutting off the rider. If safe separation is unavailable, wait or use another lawful route rather than force the maneuver.
