Passing target: 80% (24/30)
You are driving in a roundabout. An ambulance with flashing red lights and a siren comes up behind you. What should you do?
A and an ambulance with lights and siren are inside a counterclockwise roundabout. Dashed yield bars mark the eastbound entry on the left and westbound entry on the right. No response route is selected.
Correct answer: Leave the roundabout at the next exit, then pull to the right and stop
Why
The same idea applies at any intersection: do not stop in it, but drive through and then pull over. In normal traffic you must not stop, pass or change lanes inside a roundabout. After the ambulance passes, look for other emergency vehicles before you drive on.
