Your road ends at a T intersection. There are no signs or signals. A car on the through road comes from your left and arrives at about the same time as you. Who must yield?
Blue car A approaches the ending leg of an uncontrolled T; silver B approaches from A’s left on the through road.
Correct answer: You must yield, because you must turn onto the through road
Why
This rule is an exception to the rule that the driver on the left yields to the driver on the right. Drivers on the through road expect to continue. Slow down as you come to the end of the road, look both ways, and turn only when there is a safe gap.
