Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
At night you turn onto a ramp and pass a red rectangular sign with the white words WRONG WAY. What does this sign tell you?

Correct answer: You have entered a lane of oncoming traffic and are going the wrong direction
Why
A WRONG WAY sign faces drivers who have already entered against traffic, often on a freeway ramp or a one-way street. Do not keep going: move out of the path of oncoming traffic as soon as you can, and turn back only when it is safe. Minnesota law lets vehicles on a one-way roadway travel only in the marked direction.
