What does a crossbuck at railroad tracks require?

Correct answer: Look and listen, and stop for any train that is coming.
Why
Approach at a controllable speed and cross only when every track and the space beyond are clear. A train cannot steer around a vehicle on the crossing. Wait until the entire route across the tracks and the exit beyond them are available; never stop with part of the vehicle on a rail.
