Observation, Speed & SpaceStandalone practice
You are driving on a highway at night. You keep yawning, and your car starts to drift toward the lane line. What should you do?
Correct answer: Pull off at the next rest area or service stop and nap there.
Why
Tiredness makes it harder to make decisions and slows your reactions, and the guide warns that a tired driver can be as dangerous as an intoxicated one. Long, unchanging highway drives can also cause highway hypnosis; keep your eyes moving across the traffic and signs to stay alert. On long trips, plan regular breaks before you become tired.
