During which period does Missouri law require your headlights to be on, even if the sky still looks fairly bright?
Correct answer: From a half hour after sunset until a half hour before sunrise
Why
Headlights help others see you as much as they help you see. Missouri also requires them whenever you cannot clearly see people and vehicles 500 feet ahead, whenever the weather makes you use your windshield wipers, and in fog. Turning them on a little earlier at dusk is always a safe choice.
