Licensing & Test ReadinessStandalone practice
Jordan, 17, has an intermediate license. At 1:30 a.m. he wants to drive alone to a friend's house after a party. May he?
Correct answer: No, because from 1 to 5 a.m. he needs a licensed driver 21 or older
Why
Crash risk for new drivers is highest late at night, when fatigue, darkness and impaired drivers combine. Missouri's intermediate license therefore limits unsupervised driving from 1:00 to 5:00 a.m. The exceptions cover trips to or from a school activity, a job or an emergency.
