Vehicle Safety, Documents & TowingStandalone practice
You are 25 and hold a full Class F license. You drive a car with one adult friend in the front seat and another adult in the back seat. Under Missouri's general seat-belt law, who must be buckled?
Correct answer: You and the adult in your front passenger seat
Why
Seat belts greatly reduce your chance of being hurt or killed in a crash, and air bags do not protect you in side or rear impacts or rollovers. Wear the lap part of the belt low and snug over your hip bones and the shoulder part over your chest, never under your arm or behind your back. The guide advises making sure every passenger is buckled before you drive, even when the law does not require it.
