Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
You come to this sign beside the road. There are no flashing lights and no gate. What does the sign tell you?

Correct answer: You are at the railroad crossing itself; yield to any train, and stop if one is coming.
Why
Crossbuck signs are found at all public railroad crossings, and many crossings have only this sign. A train cannot stop quickly or swerve, so it is always up to the driver to yield. If a train is approaching, stop no closer than 15 feet from the nearest rail.
