Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
You are in the left lane and plan to go straight at the next intersection. A white sign over your lane reads LEFT LANE MUST TURN LEFT. What should you do?

Correct answer: Signal and move to a through lane early; if you cannot, turn left
Why
Nebraska law lets road authorities assign movements to lanes with signs and markings, and drivers must obey them. The same idea applies to a curved pavement arrow with the word ONLY and to a center lane signed for left turns only. Read lane signs well before the intersection so you can change lanes calmly. A missed lane means a small detour, not a sudden move.
