On a city street, you pass a fluorescent yellow-green diamond sign that shows a black walking person. What should you do?

Correct answer: Slow down, look for people crossing, and yield or stop for them
Why
In Nebraska, when no signal controls a crosswalk, you must stop for a person crossing in your lane or in the lane next to it. Do not pass a vehicle that has stopped at a crosswalk, because it may hide a person. Nebraska law also requires at least 3 feet of clearance from people on the road, when it applies. Fluorescent yellow-green signs are used for people on foot, bicycles, playgrounds, schools and school buses.
