When does Nebraska law require you to drive with your headlights on?
Correct answer: From sunset to sunrise, and whenever you cannot clearly see people or vehicles 500 feet ahead.
Why
Nebraska requires lighted headlights and taillights from sunset to sunrise, and at any other time when the light is too poor to see persons or vehicles clearly 500 feet ahead, such as in heavy rain, snow or fog. Driving with only parking lights is unlawful. The manual also advises turning on low beams as daylight fades and whenever you use your windshield wipers, so that other drivers can see you.
