Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
On a two-lane rural highway, you see a yellow diamond sign with a black arrow that curves to the left. What should you do?

Correct answer: Slow before the curve so you can keep your car in your lane
Why
The manual shows several road-shape signs: a curve, a reverse turn, a reverse curve and a winding road. A yellow advisory speed plaque under the sign gives a safe speed for the curve. Nebraska's basic speed law requires a safe speed when you approach and go around a curve. Slowing before the curve leaves more tire grip for steering.
