Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
You are driving in the right lane of a road with two lanes in your direction. A yellow diamond sign shows two lanes, and the right lane line bends in to join the left lane. What should you do?

Correct answer: Signal, check your mirrors and blind spot, and move left when safe
Why
Merge early and at the speed of traffic, not at the last moment. Nevada law says you must stay in your lane until you signal and make sure that the lane change is safe. Drivers in the lane that continues should help by keeping space, but the merging driver must find the gap. A shoulder check matters because a car in your blind spot does not show in the mirrors.
