Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
A yellow or fluorescent yellow-green diamond sign shows the symbol of a person walking. No one is in the road right now. What should you do?

Correct answer: Watch for people who may cross the road ahead and be ready to yield
Why
Most pedestrian deaths happen mid-block, away from intersections, where drivers do not expect people. Nevada law requires drivers to use due care to avoid hitting a pedestrian and to take extra caution near crosswalks and school zones. If a vehicle ahead of you stops at a crosswalk, do not pass it until you know why it stopped. A person may be crossing in front of it where you cannot see.
