Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
You follow a slow truck on a two-lane road. The center line on your side is broken, and you see a yellow pennant-shaped sign on the left side of the road just ahead. What should you do?

Correct answer: Stay behind the truck, and pass later where your line is broken and the road is clear
Why
The pennant stands on the left side of the road, where a driver who plans to pass will see it. In the zone, a solid yellow line on your side means that you may not cross it to pass, except in a few cases in state law, such as an emergency or passing a bicyclist or pedestrian when it is safe. Hills, curves and intersections hide oncoming traffic, which is why these zones exist.
