Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
Just after you turn onto a ramp, you see a red horizontal sign with the white words WRONG WAY. What should you do?

Correct answer: Pull to the edge and stop at once, then turn around only when it is safe
Why
WRONG WAY signs are posted on ramps and one-way roads to warn a driver who has already entered against the flow of traffic. New Jersey law allows driving on a signed one-way roadway only in the direction shown. Wrong-way crashes are usually head-on crashes at high speed, so the sooner you stop moving the wrong way, the lower the risk.
