Parking, Reversing & Roadside StopsStandalone practice
You want to park on a street with a fire station. Signs are posted on the side of the street across from the station. What are the minimum distances from the station's driveway entrance?
A fire station driveway opens onto a two-way street. No-parking signs face the opposite curb; the question image shows the entrance edges without distance values.
Correct answer: 20 feet on the station's side, and 75 feet on the opposite side
Why
Fire trucks leave the station fast and need a wide path to turn into the street. A car parked too close on either side can block that turn and delay help. Official signs, markings or parking meters can set a different distance.
