Safe & Responsible DrivingStandalone practice
Sam is 35 and drives his own car, not a commercial vehicle. At what alcohol concentration can impaired driving be proven by the test number alone, with no other sign of impairment?
Correct answer: 0.08 or more
Why
The 0.08 number is not a safe limit, because many people are affected at much lower levels. A driver can also be convicted of DWI below 0.08 when alcohol, drugs or both appreciably impair the driver's physical or mental abilities. A test result of 0.08 or more also brings an immediate license revocation of at least 30 days.
