Jordan's driver license is suspended in Minnesota. During the suspension, he moves to North Dakota and applies for a North Dakota license. What happens?
Correct answer: He may not get a North Dakota license until the Minnesota suspension ends.
Why
North Dakota counts suspensions and revocations from other states, so a move does not erase one. North Dakota also refuses a license to anyone under 16 (except for a permit or a restricted license) and to a person whose physical or mental condition makes safe driving unlikely. A history of seizures or blackouts can also prevent a license until a medical review shows that driving is safe.
