Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
On a two-lane highway, you follow a slow truck. On the left side of the road, you see a yellow pennant-shaped sign with the words NO PASSING ZONE. What should you do?

Correct answer: Stay behind the truck until a pass is both legal and safe
Why
No-passing zones are set where passing is especially dangerous, for example near hills and curves. A solid yellow line on your side of the center line usually marks the same zone. The law still allows a left turn into or out of an alley, a private road or a driveway in the zone.
