Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
On a two-lane highway, you follow a slow pickup truck and see this white rectangular sign with the words DO NOT PASS. The road ahead looks straight, and you see no oncoming cars. What should you do?

Correct answer: Stay behind the truck until a sign or line allows passing again
Why
No-passing signs and solid yellow lines mark places where passing is too dangerous, often because a hill, curve, intersection or driveway is hidden ahead. The rule applies even when the road looks clear. A few minutes behind a slow vehicle is much safer than a head-on crash.
