You borrow a friend's car, and an officer stops you at a traffic check. The glove box has your friend's current insurance verification form for the car, and the policy does not exclude you. What should you do?
Correct answer: Show the owner's current form, because it covers a driver who is not excluded.
Why
In Oklahoma, the driver must show a current security verification form at a traffic stop and after a collision, and after a crash you must also show it to the other people involved. Before you drive any car, make sure that a current form is in it, because driving without insurance can lead to arrest and suspension of your driving privilege. Only a form from an insurance company or agent is valid; a fake form is a crime.
