Passing target: 80% (16/20)
You are passing a car on a two-lane road. When is it safe to move back into the right lane?
A is passing B on a two-lane road with a broken yellow center line. A is ahead in the opposing lane; B stays in the right lane.
Correct answer: When you can see the passed car in your inside rearview mirror.
Why
After you pass, signal, move back into the right lane, and turn off the signal. The mirror check makes sure that there is a safe space between your car and the car that you passed. Before you start any pass, check for at least 200 feet of clear road and no no-passing zone. If you are not sure that you can finish the pass, do not start it.
