The foot brake of your car works well, but the parking brake no longer holds the car when you park on a slope. What does Oklahoma law require?
Correct answer: A repair, because the car must have a parking brake that can hold it on a grade.
Why
Cars must have service brakes on all wheels for normal stops, and also a parking brake that holds the car still on a hill. When you leave the car, set the parking brake and put the gear in park, low or reverse, because a car that rolls can hurt people and damage property. All brakes must be kept in good working order, not only on the day of your drive test.
