Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
On a two-lane highway with a 55 mph limit, you follow a car that goes about 45 mph. You see this sign on the right side of the road. What does it mean for you?

Correct answer: You may not cross the center line to pass the car while this zone lasts
Why
No-passing zones are marked where hills, curves, intersections or other hazards make passing dangerous. Oregon law lets you go left of the center line in a no-passing zone only to turn left, or to get around an obstruction, such as a vehicle or bicycle that goes less than half the speed limit. In that case, yield to oncoming traffic and drive at least 5 mph below the limit.
