Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
You turn onto a freeway ramp. Then you see a red horizontal sign with the white words WRONG WAY. What should you do?

Correct answer: Pull to the side, stop, use hazard lights, then turn around with care.
Why
A WRONG WAY sign means that you are driving against the flow of traffic, often on an exit ramp. Get out of the traffic path at once: pull to the side of the ramp, stop and turn on your hazard lights. Then turn around or back off the ramp slowly and with care, because oncoming drivers do not expect you and have little time to react.
