You drive on a two-lane road. A fire truck with its lights and siren on comes toward you in the oncoming lane. What must you do?
A travels left in the upper lane of a two-lane road. Fire truck B approaches in the opposite lower lane with its warning lights flashing and its siren sounding.
Correct answer: Pull over as close to the right edge as is safe, and stop until it passes
Why
A line of cars stopped at the right edge gives the emergency vehicle a clear path that it can predict. Stay stopped until it has passed or a police officer tells you to move. Look and listen for more emergency vehicles before you drive on.
