Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
On a two-lane road, you see this sign, a long yellow pennant shape with its point toward the right, posted on the left side of the road. You are thinking about passing a slow truck. What does the sign tell you?

Correct answer: A zone where passing is not allowed begins here, so do not start a pass.
Why
It is the only warning sign with a pennant shape, and it stands on the left side of the road, where a driver who plans to pass will see it. It usually appears where a solid yellow line starts on your side of the center line, for example before a hill or curve. A rectangular DO NOT PASS sign gives the same message as a regulatory sign.
