What should you remember about the windshield pillars when checking an intersection?
Correct answer: They can hide road users; shift slightly to look past them.
Why
A windshield pillar can briefly conceal a pedestrian, cyclist, motorcycle or even another car. At an intersection, check beyond each pillar by shifting your viewing position slightly. Keep scanning the whole intersection; one glance from one position may miss a road user.
